Not everyone is able to download their favorite VS Code extensions from the Microsoft VS Code Marketplace.
We’re now additionally offering the extension packages from Oracle.com, just like we have for SQL Developer. You can now get the individual VSIX distributions from our SQL Developer extension for VS Code Download page!
The license is FUTC, so there’s no click-through agreement required. As a new version of the extension is published, we’ll update this page, although it may lag a day or 2.
What do I do after I download?
In VS Code, you can use the ‘side loader’ – and simply point to the VSIX file.

Also, we would need 6 ‘latest’ payloads to maintain, vs 1. Not excited about that.
